Saint Germain Hockey Club is an international, family-orientated club that is open to all players from beginners to elite.

Superb surroundings !

Situated in superb surroundings at the heart of the Forest of Saint Germain en Laye and close to the station that is only 20 minutes by train from the Champs Elysees and the centre of Paris, our club is the biggest in the Paris region and one of the best in the country.



Great atmosphere !

The club facilities are outstanding and include two synthetic pitches and a club house with a great atmosphere including a restaurant and a bar. The Hockey Club also shares facilities with the prestigious Saint Germain Tennis club which is also open to membership.

International character

Currently Saint Germain Hockey Club has over 350 members and reflects the international make up of the city with players from many countries including Australia, Argentina, England, Germany, Holland and Ireland. The international character of the club also begins at the very youngest level, due to the proximity of many International Schools and this adds to our diversity.

Great results !

For the last ten years both our men’s and women’s first teams have taken part at the “Elite” level in French hockey. Since 2006, the women’s first team have always reached the quarter finals and have twice become Champions of France. In the same period, the men’s first team have played in six finals of the French championship and have been crowned champions four times !!

The high reputation of SGHC is built on its Hockey School

In addition to our focus on the top-competition level of French hockey, SGHC pays an enormous amount of attention to its Hockey School and the development of our children. Open to children from six years of age and led by Jérôme Tranvan and his team of 25 qualified trainers, the reputation of SGHC is built on its hockey school. With 220 children from 6 to 16 years old training from 1 to 3 times per week, SGHC competes in regional and international championships. In addition to training and matches, specific hockey courses are also regularly organised during school holidays.
